No. The Readiness Score uses your self-reported credit range. A soft credit check is optional and only happens after you explicitly opt in.

Is this a real underwriting decision?

No — final eligibility is determined by a licensed lender after full underwriting. But the score is built on the same guidelines they use, so it's a real signal of where you stand.
